We strive to get you the most money for your item, which is why we offer competitive selling fees. Please read our consignment terms and conditions in its entirety. Using our prepaid label to ship your item(s) to us is your consent for us to sell your item and all variables have been considered and approved by the consigning party.

Consignment process:

Thank you for considering The Foxy Shopper for your consignment needs. To begin the process of consignment, please email shopfoxyposh@gmail.com with detailed photos of your handbag(s). Please include the front, back, interior logo, serial number/hologram at interior, and ANY signs of wear/damage. Please also describe any accessories included such as dust bag, box, original receipt, etc. If you have obtained a third-party certificate showing the authenticity of your item(s) please include them in the email as well.

We have a 5 star rating system for our items. 5 stars indicates new never used, with or without original tags and accessories. 4-4.5 stars indicates light wear, still excellent condition. 3.5 stars is given to items with moderate wear but the item is still in good functioning condition with no holes, rips or damage. The Foxy Shopper will assess each item using the 5 star rating system. We do not accept items that fall at or below the 3 star policy. Items with holes, rips, major wear or excessive damage will be declined.

Pricing and payment:

Once we have received the information we need, please allow 3-5 business days for your item to be reviewed, authenticated via photos and to receive an estimated market value quote. This is a range we estimate your item will sell for based on the current active market and recently sold items. This quote will be an approximate range that is dependent on the condition of the item as well as current market conditions. The Foxy Shopper sells items on multiple platforms with varying platform fees. These fees are factored into your quote. Please note that the final value of your payment may fall above or below the estimated range. We strive to get you the most money for your item, which is why we offer competitive selling fees. Items must appraise for a minimum of $250 to qualify. Bags with a final sale value of $250-$600 have a 25% selling fee. Bags with a final sale value of $601-$1,200 have a 20% selling fee. Bags with a final sale value at or above $1,201 sell with just a 15% selling fee. The selling fee is deducted from the final value of the sale. The Foxy Shopper reserves the right to alter the consignment fee for future consignments at any time.

Upon the customer's approval of the quote, The Foxy Shopper will provide a prepaid label. Once the carrier service takes possession of item(s) they then qualify for the carrier’s insurance and liability terms. The Foxy Shopper assumes liability at delivery of items in transit. Using our prepaid label to ship your item(s) to The Foxy Shopper is your consent for The Foxy Shopper to sell your item(s) and all variables have been considered and approved by the consigning party.

Once the item has sold and has been marked as delivered to the buyer, there is a pending period of 4 business days. After 4 business days we will contact the consignor with receipt of payment. This email will include the details of the sale with the final payment amount. This payment will be made either by Zelle, Venmo or by mailed check. To ensure payments are made swiftly and without delay, please ensure you have provided us with an updated and accurate mailing address, email address and/or cell phone number. Transactions may be subject to fees depending on the terms and conditions of the transaction service provided.

Return to consignor or cancelation terms:

If the consignment client requests the handbag(s) returned, or The Foxy Shopper has had the item listed and unsold for 6 months, then the consignment client will need to provide us with a prepaid label at our request. An additional fee of $40 per item will be charged to the consignment client to cover authentication and listing costs. Once the carrier service takes possession of item(s) they qualify for the carrier’s insurance and liability terms. The Foxy Shopper is not liable for item(s) in transit.

We strictly only accept authentic new and preowned luxury handbags. Please review our current list of brands for consignment: Alexander McQueen, Balmain, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, BVLGARI, Carolina Herrera, Cartier, Celine, Chanel, Chloe, Christian Dior, Christian Louboutin, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Ferragamo, Givenchy, Goyard, Gucci, Hermes, Jimmy Choo, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Mansur Gavriel, Mark Cross, Max Mara, MCM, MIU MIU, Moschino, Mulberry, Nancy Gonzalez, Off-White, Oscar de la Renta, Prada, Proenza Schouler, Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, The Row, Tod's, Tom Ford, Valentino Garavani, Versace and Yves Saint Laurent. Please note: if you are consigning Hermes or Loewe bags you will be asked to provide documentation in the form of a certificate of authenticity either sent to The Foxy Shopper by email or mail. Certificates must be from a reputable third-party authenticator. We reserve the right to approve or deny the third-party authenticating service provided to us by a consignment client. We reserve the right to change our list of accepted brands at any time. As of December 1, 2022 we no longer accept Balenciaga handbags and products.
